The Sax Pack are: Jeff Kashiwa, Kim Waters and Steve Cole. From the Website: http://www.thesaxpack.com we read: For the past 4 years Jeff Kashiwa, Kim Waters and Steve Cole have impressed fans and promoters with an entertaining show that not only featured the personal best of each player, but also illustrated the impact quality musicianship has on a crowd of people. Fans shared satisfied smiles with one another as they waited in line for a trio of autographs and they left the venue with energy to burn. Sometimes we come across a great artist who’s new to us but has been making wonderful music for some time, and we wonder how we could have missed it all these years. Here’s one who writes and sings on the Jazzier side of Jazz, and has made 11 albums so far. We feature the title track of a new album for 2008. NB It is also a very well known Cole Porter song written as long ago as 1944 and sung and played by many singers and musicians over the years, this version is superb, and so is the album.
